Lake Manyara National Park takes pride in diversified habitat. It is mirrored by its varied fauna with some of the more common and visible large mammal species being the buffalo, elephant, giraffe, zebra, lion and wildebeest. Prominently renowned for its tree-climbing lion.
Serengeti National Park is Tanzania largest and best-known national park with a massive concentration of migratory animals who move around the park according to the availability of food. Famous for its annual migration.
Tarangire derived its name from Tarangire River which passes through the park to the South and drains into Lake Burungi. It is the main source of water for wild animals crossing over from the Serengeti especially during the dry season.A drive into the park is hearty and resounding given the abundance of wildlife here. At a closer look though, your mind wanders to shrubby trees scattered in the vast park.
Ngorongoro Crater is the world biggest whole volcanic caldera at 8300 sq km and is arguably the most stunning arena. It is frequently described as one of the wonders of the world not only because of its geological magnificence but also because it serves as an extraordinary natural sanctuary for some of Africa largest population of large mammals.
